Keep the Lights on Pollinators Grant

The Decatur, Franklin, and Ripley County SWCDs received a Clean Water Indiana Grant to help local landowners install pollinator habitats, replace invasive shrubs and educate on the importance of native pollinator habitats.

Rain Barrel & Composting Workshop

In 2016 the Decatur County SWCD partnered with Decatur County Solid Waste Management and Purdue Extension Decatur County to host workshops on the benefits of rain barrels and the do's and don'ts. Attendees then took home a rain barrel, complements of the hosts.

Salt-Pipe Creek Watershed Project

The Salt-Pipe Creek Watershed Project, with assistance from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) and the Decatur and Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs), has secured funds to help you put conservation on your land.
